A graduate of California State University at Chico in Construction Management, Chris has a wealth of knowledge and experience in bringing out the best in a project’s beauty, while incorporating efficient systems and designs and maintaining a green standard.

Nancy Decker, Owner
Nancy has been involved with the C Decker Companies since its inception in 1996.
She and her husband, Chris, built the landscape construction and later our maintenance and nursery divisions through innovative expansions and acquisitions. Nancy earned her undergraduate degree from California State University at Chico.

Ian has over 30 years of experience in a variety of industries, including multiple residential and commercial construction trades. He brings a multi-disciplined background in finance, law and executive leadership to bear on his role as he leads the company and our team of professionals through the next phases of our growth.

Michael is a Creative Landscape Contractor, business owner, designer, and estimator with 43 years of experience designing and building projects of all scales throughout nine Bay Area counties. He thrives on collaborative problem-solving and takes deep pride in creating beautiful outdoor spaces for people to enjoy. Driven by a passion for continuous learning, Michael remains constantly inspired to evolve within the landscaping industry.

Bringing 10 years of Human Resources expertise, Nicole oversees safety compliance, benefits, and employee relations with a practical, people-first approach. She is dedicated to building strong workplace environments where employees feel supported and businesses run smoothly. Her work balances regulatory compliance with a strong commitment to team well-being.
Chris Greenhalgh
Vice President of Residential Construction
Chris has over 30 years of experience in residential and commercial landscape construction along with landscape maintenance operations. He manages our California residential and streetscape division along with the Sacramento Valley maintenance operations.

Project Manager
Chris has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry working himself up from the field as a plumbing apprentice and through leadership roles in the field and then in the office. Chris has managed numerous large construction projects requiring multi-faceted designs and schedule challenges.
Margaret Deacon
Accounting Manager
Margaret joined the Decker family of companies in the fall of 2019. She is a seasoned accounting professional with over four decades of experience in financial operations, specializing in Accounts Payable and General Ledger analysis. She has built a reputation for delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. Her career spans multiple industries and includes The California Farm Bureau Federation, Oracle, Pulte Homes and United Natural Foods where she has led cross-functional teams to streamline accounting functions and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
Mark Brown
General Superintendent
Mark has over 25 Years of construction experience specializing in landscape design, maintenance and construction. Utilizing his experience, Mark coordinates all site construction activities and supervises field crews.
Leo Pedri
Project Manager
Leo has over 15 years of experience in the landscape construction and horiticulture industry. Leo’s prior experience in the nursery business lends itself to being able to identify planting product tht best suits the needs of the project and the owners’ expectations.
Jerry Daniels
Project Estimator
Jerry has over 20 years of estimating experience in residential, commercial and public works landscape projects. Jerry earned his undergraduate degree in Ornamental Horiticulture from California State University at Fresno.
